StartUps By GrownUps – Transition Workshop: What Does It Take? Who Can Help…
January 16, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Is there something you have been wanting to do all your life?
Do you have a great idea or a passion project you always wanted to tackle but never had time, or didn’t know how to get it started?
Are you bored and want to have some fun and learn new things?
Are You Over 40 and considering a For-Profit Startup or a Social Impact Nonprofit?
Do you have an entrepreneur’s mindset?
Now is the time to move forward, as you start the new year. Come start your journey with us!
Join Stage2Startups to learn about the transition to an entrepreneurial mindset as well how to identify ideas for your startup and where to get asistance.
YOU don’t have to do everything yourself. You can get help, some of it free!
There are resources in metro New York that are willing to help you. And you don’t have to feel alone, because the Stage2Startups community includes entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs who can share their experience, advice and expertise.
Want to know more about us? Visit www.stage2startups.org to see earlier events on video, especially our transition panels, where entrepreneurs talk about their journey from life as an employee to becoming startup founders or co-founders. Check our resources page to learn about organizations and service providers that are interested in helping entrepreneurs.
Every Stage2Startups event has snacks, drinks and networking. And afterwards, you are a member of an online platform that will allow you to communicate with other already-successful and potential entrepreneurs.
Start 2019 with new friends and let us help you on your journey!

What can I bring into the event?
Bring something to take notes – phone, laptop, ipad, pen and paper… because we will share highlights but some people learn by taking notes. Whatever makes you comfortable is good with us.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Email your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What’s the refund policy?
We don’t give refunds unless we cancel an event and don’t have a backup date. This is because as a volunteer organization, we use the funds to buy refreshments and pay for promotion and occassionally, if the budget allows, video.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, just email email@example.com and we can make changes for you.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you cannot come, you can send someone in your place – just let us know so we can get you through security.
