U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation  – Hiring our Heroes

Launched in March of 2011, Hiring Our Heroes is a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation which supports transitioning service members, military veterans, and military spouses in finding meaningful employment in a 21st century workforce. Through the program’s connections to thousands of state and local chambers of commerce, hiring events in the United States and abroad, education programs, digital resources, and various campaigns and initiatives, Hiring Our Heroes has been able to secure hundreds of thousands of jobs for military families and even more meaningful connections for job seekers. For more than five years, Hiring Our Heroes has worked tirelessly with our public, private, and nonprofit partners to engage the business community to ensure that employers understand that veterans and military spouses bring to the table incredibly valuable tangible and intangible skills for a company.  Hiring military job seekers is not only the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do for a company’s bottom line.
